Fast-track to success: AI Factory France supercharges AI Adoption by French startups and SMEs with NVIDIA

AI Factory France (AI2F), under the leadership of GENCI, today announces Europe’s first AI Factory collaboration with the NVIDIA Inception program for startups and NVIDIA Connect program for independent software vendors (ISVs), marking a major milestone in accelerating artificial intelligence innovation for startups and SMEs across the continent. Unveiled at the prestigious Adopt AI Summit in Paris, the collaboration will unlock unparalleled access for startups and SMEs from both programs to AI Factory France’s cutting-edge computing infrastructure and specialized AI services. Building on GENCI’s established track record since 2019—having supported over 250 startups and facilitated more than 1,400 AI projects per year on the Jean Zay Supercomputer—this collaboration further solidifies France’s and Europe’s position at the forefront of AI research and industrial transformation.

Accelerating AI innovation across Europe

AI Factory France is a national and European-scale platform co-funded by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. It is backed by a broad coalition of France’s most prestigious academic, public, and private partners — including GENCI, Inria, CNRS, CEA, France Universités with 12 French Universities (representing the IA Clusters), CINES, Amiad, Mission French Tech, Station-F and HubFranceIA — to connect scientists, Academic AI/HPC users, tech startups, SMEs, large companies and public sector stakeholders to a unique ecosystem of expertise, high-performance computing, training, and support services. It federates the resources of the French ecosystem to offer a unique one-stop-shop, using public supercomputing facilities from GENCI including the Jean Zay Supercomputer at IDRIS/CNRS.

NVIDIA Inception and NVIDIA Connect are free programs that support companies at different stages of growth. NVIDIA Inception nurtures startups by providing co-marketing support and access to NVIDIA experts, while NVIDIA Connect assists ISVs and service providers with tailored development resources to help accelerate product development and reduce time to market.

By bridging NVIDIA’s innovation ecosystem with France’s national and European AI resources, the initiative aims to accelerate the adoption, scalability, and real-world deployment of AI technologies across multiple sectors—from healthcare and energy to manufacturing and public services.

Through this initiative, NVIDIA’s extensive network of startups, SMEs, and ISVs will gain privileged access to all AI2F services, including high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, AI development tools, training and expert support. Participants will be encouraged to publish their results, contributing to the open advancement of AI knowledge. To structure and streamline this collaboration, NVIDIA will join the scientific and industrial advisory committee of AI2F.

Adopt AI provides an ideal platform for unveiling this groundbreaking collaboration: as a premier European summit dedicated to accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence in business, Adopt AI is chaired by President Emmanuel Macron and attended by heads of state and government -underscoring its unique significance and influence- as well as numerous startups, SMEs and large-scale companies.
