Since 2010, almost 4 billion core hours have been awarded to the French scientists on GENCI's computing resources.
Each year, more than 600 projects apply. The average number of hours requested by each application has reached nearly 3 million core hours in 2015 (2 million in 2014).
The demand for computing hours is not decreasing: it increases even more quickly than the resources available, which are however extended each year.
For the first time in 2015, the total volume of allocations was beyond one billion core hours for 556 projects in all scientific fields.
